What is Webview?

Webview is a patient portal that allows our patients to connect through a secured gateway to their electronic medical record in our office. Patients may send and receive secure messages and may request and view appointments online. We can communicate lab and radiology results and interpretation to you through this site. Hopefully, this will prevent telephone tag and use of our (beloved) telephone mailbox system.

When you click Webview link you are connected to the Webview Gateway Server, administered by Practice Partner in Seattle. The Gateway uses secured connections (SSL) to gather your information off our computer server, encrypt it for passage through the internet and the decrypt it at your computer when you log on to Webview with appropriate credentials. We believe the process is as secure as we can make it at this time.

How do I sign up for Webview?

You will need to fill out the sign up form. You will be given a login name. You will give us an email address, a password, and a question and answer (up to 30 characters each) which will let you retrieve a lost password. You will need to sign the form.

How do I connect to Webview?

You may connect to the Webview server from (just about) any internet connection. Please follow the usual safe computing guidelines if using a public computer. You may:

How do I send a message?

  1. Log in to Webview at HTTPS://webview.mckesson.com/RockdaleGaWebView OR click on the Link to Webview in the Webview Menu, or the Link to WEBVIEW server at the top of this page.
  2. Enter login and password information.
  3. From the main screen, select Messages, Inbox
  4. A list of messages displays. Click on the blue (or red) link under subject (yellow arrow). The message will open in a new window or tab (red arrow). Open the tab.
  5. The message will display. You may reply if you wish, by clicking on the REPLY button (red arrow)
  6. Close the message window or tab to return to the main Webview page.
  7. You will receive an email (not secure) when the office sends you a message. This email does not contain any health or personal information but tells you to log into Webview to view your message from the office (secure).

How do I make/view an appointment?

  1. Log in to Webview at HTTPS://webview.mckesson.com/RockdaleGaWebView
  2. Enter login and password information.
  3. From the main window select, APPOINTMENT REQUEST
  4. Please note that this is for NON-URGENT appointments. If you need an appointment that day, please call the office. Note that the message says we confirm your appointment. It states we will call; we will either call or email you.

    Click on the drop down box to select a provider (green arrow). Select a provider from the list.
  5. You may click on the button to request a specific date. Click on the small calendar icon to select the date. The calendar opens in a new window
  6. Select the date. OR You may select a time period days, weeks, or months in the future.
  7. Add a reason for the appointment and a note if desired. Then click SUBMIT.
  8. You will see a confirmation screen. You will get a phone call or email advising you of your appointment.

How do I check in for an appointment?

  1. Log in to Webview at HTTPS://webview.mckesson.com/RockdaleGaWebView or click on the Link to Webview server at the top of this page or from the Link to Webview menu.
  2. Enter login and password information.
  3. From the main screen, click on APPOINTMENTS
  4. You will see a list of appointments. The upcoming appointment has a button CHECK-IN (green arrow). Click on that button to check in. You may check in 48 hours prior to your appointment.
  5. The next screen shows demographic information. If correct, click on CONFIRM AND PROCEED. (green arrow) If some information is incorrect, click on CHANGE INFORMATION (red arrow)
  6. If you need to correct information, click on CHANGE INFORMATION, edit the appropriate fields and then click on CONFIRM AND PROCEED.
  7. The next screen shows billing and insurance information. You cannot edit these fields, but if they are incorrect click on the box (red arrow) that the information has changed. Then click NEXT. If you check the changed information box the office will get an email indicating that you need to
    change the information.
  8. The next screen shows a few questions for your check in. Please answer the questions and then click NEXT. (Please be patient, these screens are a little slow.)

How can a new patient create an account in Webview?

  • Please read the other information about Webview. Please also print out the form in the How do I sign up for Webview tab.

    Call the office and schedule an appointment. You will be given a password for the new patient log in through Webview.
    Log in to Webview at https://webview.pmsi.com/RockdaleGaWV or through the link on our website.

    Click on the “CLICK HERE TO REGISTER” link

  • Enter the password given to you when you scheduled your appointment.
  • Enter demographic information. We must have name, date of birth. You don’t have to put in your social security number.
  • Choose NEXT. Enter information for the financially responsible party. If the information is the same you can click the checkbox at the top; else enter in the appropriate information.
  • This next screen is a bit busy.
    • A: Choose your insurance carrier. Click on CLICK HERE (long red arrow). That opens a smaller INSURANCE SELECTOR window (short red arrow).
    • B: Enter some of the name of your carrier in the box (short yellow arrow). Please note the search is case sensitive. Use ALL CAPS. Our insurance list is left over from MS-DOS. Click search.
    • C: There are many hundreds of insurnace companies, plans, and permutations. Some are different only by a post office box number. If you find yours exactly, click on it; otherwise, use the company titled SIGN UP DEFAULT. We will fix this when you come to the office.
    • D: Finish filling out the other information. There will likely NOT be a plan name in the drop down list. Ignore this field. We must have the insured ID, first and last names. If you have secondary insurnance you can click ADD ANOTHER INSURANCE CARRIER and repeat this screen. When done click NEXT.

  • When complete
  • As you finish one screen, click NEXT to proceed. When all have been answered, you will get to the SUMMARY page.
  • Review. If correct, click REGISTER. You may click on PREVIOUS to go back to update previous parts. If this just isn’t working, click CLOSE to close without saving.
  • We will have the information in your electronic record when you arrive for your appointment. You may also want to fill out the check in questionaire a day prior to your visit, for more specific visit related information.
